Project Description
Demina is a simple keyframe based 2d skeletal animation system. It's developed in C# using XNA.

When I decided that I'd like to use skeletal based animations in my new game, I looked around for an existing editor. While there are some very nice applications designed for animation (ToonBoom Studio, Anime Studio Pro, etc.) I couldn't find anything that would output to a format that I could read into my game. (Short of rendering individual frames out, which really defeats the purpose.) So, until something better comes along, I've put together Demina.

The name Demina doesn't mean anything. It comes from shortening Animation Editor to animed, and then turning it around. I just liked the way it looked.

Here's a short video clip showing a few simple animations that I created using Demina.
